A press conference at Italian Senate on italianamericans

On the occasion of the visit to Italy of the leadership of the Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America (OSDIA), a press conference was organised on the theme "Italian Americans Today. Over 100 years of friendship between Italy and the United States'.

The meeting, which will be held at 9:00 a.m. in the Hall of the Senate of the Republic, will be attended by: Robert A. Bianchi, National President of OSDIA; Carmelo Cutuli, Founder and Past President of the Rome Chapter of OSDIA; Paolo Quattrocchi, Co-founder and Vice President of the Rome Chapter of OSDIA; Justin Smith, Administrative Director, Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America; Angelo Deiana, President of Confassociazioni; Gianni Lattanzio, President of Confassociazioni International. Moderation by the Director of Radio Parlamentare, Cristina Del Tutto.

The meeting was organised on the occasion of the visit to Italy of the leaders of the oldest and most established organisation supporting American citizens of Italian descent, the Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America.

The relationship with the Italian part of American society, represents today more than ever a vehicle of great importance for the promotion of the Italian language, art and culture as well. A relationship of friendship to be cultivated and developed for the benefit of common progress.

The Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America (OSDIA) was founded in New York in 1905 and is today chaired by Robert A. Bianchi, Esq. a criminal lawyer based in New Jersey and a well-known face on American TV. In Italy, the OSDIA is present with a Chapter in Rome, operational since 2020, and one, very recently founded, in Palermo.
