Alfonso Ruffo confirmed in the Board of NIAF

The editor-in-chief of ildenaro.it and editorial director of Gruppo Economy Alfonso Ruffo has been confirmed for the next four years in the Board of NIAF - National Italian American Foundation -, the most important Italian-American organization based in Washington.

Ruffo is the only member of the governing body of the foundation who resides in Italy. The other Italian, oncologist Antonio Giordano, president of the Sbarro Institute for Cancer Research, lives and works in Philadelphia. The new president of the foundation, succeeding Gabe Battista and Patricia De Stacy Harrison, is Robert E. Carlucci, founder and director of RC Group, a leader in the U.S. real estate market tied to food industries such as Taco Bell, Kentuchy Fried Chicken and Pizza Hut.

Niaf is a non-profit, non-political organization dedicated to preserving and protecting the Italian-American cultural heritage through the promotion of initiatives for meetings and economic collaboration between the two countries.
