Tarter Krinsky & Drogin announced that it has expanded its leading International Practice, continuing its strategic growth plan for the year ahead with the addition of Anna Taruschio. Her arrival enhances the firm’s full-service capabilities in catering to an international clientele and enhancing our Italy Practice representing clients on cross-border matters.

Prior to joining Tarter Krinsky & Drogin, Anna served as In-House Counsel in the Office of the General Counsel of the NYC Department of Education and, subsequently, Chief-of-Staff and Counsel of the New York City School Support Services, Inc., a not-for-profit company with more than 8,000 employees, created and funded by the NYC Department of Education. Before that she also served as Associate General Counsel at New York University. Prior to her in-house roles, Anna worked in private practice at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP in the Financial Restructuring Group and Allen & Overy LLP in the Banking & Finance/Restructuring Group.

Anna Taruschio is counsel in the International Group. With significant experience representing domestic and international companies in various industries, Anna provides exceptional service to clients in all aspects of their business operations.

Anna represents domestic and international companies in complex cross-border matters. She has extensive experience drafting and negotiating contracts, commercial vendor agreements, licensing agreements and other related documents. Fluent in both English and Italian, Anna is an essential member of our Italy Practice. She advises clients in the U.S. and Italy on cross-border issues, including guiding companies based in Italy seeking to expand their business in the U.S. and representing U.S. based companies seeking to do business in Italy. Anna’s practice places a strong emphasis on Labor & Employment matters. She counsels employers on litigation avoidance and risk management practices, compliance with federal, state, and local labor and wage laws, as well as compliance with foreign laws and regulations. Anna has successfully implemented anti-sexual harassment training and health and safety training for employees. She has also conducted internal investigations to address allegations of harassment, bullying and other inappropriate behavior. In addition, Anna advises senior management on operations matters to align policies with city, state and federal regulatory frameworks.
