Italian chef in Los Angeles Ale Gambini receives Patrimonio Italiano Awards

Italian chef in LA, Ale Gambini aka a Queen in the Kitchen, will receive the Patrimonio Italiano Awards, the Oscar of Made in Italy, conceived by journalists Luigi Liberti and Mike J. Pilla with the intent to honor Italian characters, stories and excellence that contribute to the diffusion and enhancement of Italian Culture around the world.

Ale Gambini, known as A Queen in the Kitchen, is an Italian food ambassador in Los Angeles, writer, award-winning online host and cooking teacher. Born and raised in Northern Italy, in beautiful Milan, she learned to cook and love good food from her beloved grandmother, Nonna Fernanda. Ale has taught hundreds of food lovers about authentic Italian cooking. Her latest book, published in the U.S., "No Ketchup on Spaghetti" includes a foreword by Alessandro Schiatti (CEO of I Love Italian Food) and suggestions from masters of Italian cuisine including Aurelio Barattini, Christina Conte, Gabriella Gasparini, Manuela Mazzocco, Barbara Pollastrini, Vincenzo Prosperi, Amy Riolo and Mario Rizzotti.

The awards ceremony will be held on Monday, March 29 at 12 noon at the Chamber of Deputies in Rome. On this occasion the Hon. Fucsia Nissoli Fitzgerard will sign and deliver the "Certificates" to the personalities who, following their culture and Italian traditions, represent a pride for the millions of Italians living abroad.
