Adriano Alfani joins Versalis with 20-years of experience in the international Chemical industry, having operated in large, important and complex markets, and holding several international roles at Senior Global Business Director and Senior Global Strategy Director levels. Mr Alfani started his career at EniChem after working at Dow since 2001, where he adopted a business model based on innovation, circular economy and sustainability principles.

The current CEO of Versalis, Daniele Ferrari, will leave the Company at the end of this year. Eni’s CEO, Claudio Descalzi, commented: “I would like to thank Daniele for the excellent work he has done during his years at Versalis”. Versalis wishes Adriano Alfani all the best in his work and highlights that Mr Ferrari has contributed to improving the Company’s results and setting the transition path towards an increasingly sustainable and circular Chemicals business, in line with Eni’s strategy, transforming Versalis’ business model and placing the Company among the leaders of the international Chemical industry.
